Since the beginning of 2025, Task Force Argo (TFA), the Welcoming Initiative for Newcomers (WIN), the Community Sponsorship Hub (CSH), and the Welcome Neighborhood Support Teams have built and implemented a privately supported infrastructure to assist forcibly displaced people with intake and case management, travel coordination, and fully private community sponsorship as core elements.
Task Force Argo, in partnership with U.S. government personnel, provides culturally competent and trauma-informed case management to Afghan allies facing the dire reality of life under Taliban rule. Task Force Argo guides stranded individuals through every critical step to meet eligibility requirements for relocation, ensuring they receive the urgent travel assistance and community sponsorship needed to secure their safety and rebuild their lives in freedom.
